Shaker 500 Bad???

My subs in the doors are not working.. The fuse (16) is good but when i do the radio test and it gets to the door subs the radio says failed. Could this be the actual shaker 500 radio or the amps for the subs or any other way to tell??

I've never pulled a Shaker 500 (yet) but I'd think you might have to AFTER you figure out how to check the subs themselves first. Hopefully this will help: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=40&viewfile...Navigation.pdf

There are radio removal instructions in the Work Shop Manual, also. Good luck. I'll be tearing into my g/f's '06 next week to swap her Shaker with one from an '08. To be truthful, I'm NOT looking forward to it.
