Default whistling noise. please help..

I have an 05 v6 automatic and have a probelm has been bugging me for a while now. When im accellerating everything is fine but when i get to about 60mph (on the freeway) i can start to hear a distinctive whistling noise. If i take my foot off the gas it will stop but as soon as i hit the gas again to maintain my speed the whistling noise comes back. It does not get louder or change the faster i go. The noise is constant as long as am giving the car gas and am driving above about 60mph. The noise continues until i get off the freeway and get below about 60mph then everything is fine again. I want to take it to the stealership but i dont want to pay for them to diagose it just for them to tell me its "normal". Hope somebody can help, has anybody encountered a problem like this before???

Hmmm.... all stock induction? I know on the 3.8 V-6's with CAI they were prone to whistling at certain RPM ranges under certain loads.

That being said... U may want to have a looksee at the induction on the car. Make sure everything is in order. Could be something very simple as a loose connection.
