So I have a 06 v6 mustang and I am planning converting it to a dual exhaust with flowmaster. I am think about putting on American Thunder Classic System, is that a good choice to do or do you think that there is something better. And if you are one of those people who hate on flowmaster, tell me why I should go with something else.

its all about what you want. the flowmaster american thunder 40s are pretty loud and deep at idle but I think they get raspy over 3k rpms.. I had a choice between the 40s and magnaflows when i went dual and I couldn't be happier with mine. they arent as deep but they sound good at all rpms.
You should go with flowmaster american thunders, they sound really good and are really loud compared to my old ford racing set up, only downside is that they drone pretty bad
I actually just finished installing dual American Thunders last week. I'm VERY happy with the results and new sound compared to the GT takeoffs. The car is pretty quiet at idle but as soon as any gas is applied they open right up. The sound is fairly loud, I drove to a friends house the next day and he said he heard me down the block but didn't believe it was my car until I pulled up to his house lol. But the real quality comes in how deep the sound is, I never expected a 6 to have this kind of tone. Sure it drones some, but my friends and I agree it just makes it sound like a big ol' beast lol. On top of that, the mufflers painted black really helps camouflage them behind the V6 bumper, and the big chrome tips sure sit pretty down there.
I've been wanting to make a good in depth video but this week has already gotten really busy. I'll try to have one up on Wednesday for you. I'll include start-up, revs, driveby and all-the-above but inside the cabin.

Thanks staggolee, I have been doing a lot of research on what time of flowmasters to use thatn I came across the AT. They sound amazing. Can't wait to hear the audio you put up!! And what do YOU mean by "drone". There are people how have different views of what a drone is.
Good point on the "potato/potawto" issue with drone. I guess the best way I can put it is that the closest thing I have to drone is the steady booming when going in fourth gear at maybe 70 mph. There's never a note that is piercing my eardrums, but I can see how a this steady boom can get to people. It will all make more sense when I make the video, i'll make sure to get freeway footage.

getting a set of a/t put on this week. The shop is fabing up an h-pipe and the over axle pipes plus all the hardware for 300 is that a good price? I already have the a/t's btw
Ya that is a good price. I had gone to a shop where i live and they wanted to do it all for 500. that included the h pipe, instaling a second pipe, slotting the hole for a second exhaust in my bumper, new cat, and the flowmaster at's. so ya that is a pretty good price.
