are tunes worth while if you have a manual transmission? i know the tune for my f150 was most noticeable in the shift points and firmness.

Us guys with manuals have all the advantages of a good tune as the auto guys except for the shift point/firmess changes. Considering the over power gains, throttle response improvement and other drivability pluses, they are DEFINITELY worth it.
