Default New Spec2 clutch install problems?

Well ,my clutch was slipping and had to go with a performance one. So i chose spec 2 ,also bought a new factory flywheel, new clutch slave/throwout,and pilot bearing aswell.
I had them installed by a local performance shop that does geat work for me no complaints ,but when i picked up the car the clutch pedal was very soft i mean extremely soft ,it feels so light now and the clutch just grabs like crazy ,but the only concern i have is the clutch pressure is to soft .... is this normal it feels like im pressing on air.

My last car(it wasn't a mustang), but I installed a stage 3 clutch in it, I noticed the same thing in it, on top of the ease of the pedal movement it had a extremely late release point, but from a friend with a lot of knowledge he said that is how a racing clutch releases. All I can help you with, check your fluid to make sure you are not losing any and bleed some of the fluid out to make sure all the air is out, however I am going to guess is that is how it releases.

i see what your saying, but my release is to quick .fully pressed just less than 3 to 5 inches out the clutch is fully engaged.... its weird.i have spoken to spec about it and they say with all new hydraulics and flywheel the car should act like that ,but he couldnt explain why...so that left me with more questions.i think i will just wait untill the clutch and everything is broken in .

Could be the Spec clutch but I would have it bleed some more.
