True, but since he has already posted it, by not telling him, you are actually not only wasting his time, but yours too.

Anyways....

If it's an auto, 3.73s are a good choice. If it's a manual, go with the 4.10s.
You say you drive only around 20 miles a day around town? 4.10s would be fine unless you want to take it on a trip somewhere. They are not as highway friendly as 3.73s.

If your FRPP CAI includes the FRPP tune, then you'll want to trash the FRPP tune and get a custom tune from AM or Brenspeed. You'll likely pick up an additional 8-10 RWHP over the FRPP tune. If you're NOT tuned, you WANT to be.

If you're very picky about your performance and count every RWHP, then the extra weight of those 20" chariot wheels will have a negative impact on your performance (as well as the small sidewall being a detriment to handling if you're also sensitive to handling).

I found this article:

Rear End Axles and Ratios

to be really helpful in explaining the differences in the gear ratios. I know I drive my mustang to and from work with 3.73s in the back (and an auto transmission), and I also get down on it from time to time, and I KNOW its much better than the 3.31s, and it handles both standard driving and hard acceleration in stride. Take that with a grain of salt because I am new to a lot of this, just my personal experience.

love my 3.73s, im sure 4.10s would be sick but on the highway youd be taching pretty high. but like lemmings said 3.73s are a great improvement over the stock 3.31's and a good compromise if you plan on doing any highway.

Have you driven a manual with 4.10's?

Its the other way around IMO.

I do about 70% city driving and opted for the 3.73's since I use the highway at least once a week. Should be done install Wednesday

I have an auto, so no.

All I can go by is what other people I have talked to say. Logically, I see your point. Keeping up with the shifts does sound hard.
