Ok thanks everyone. Looks like I'll save a little extra. For at least a performance clutch. And plan in a new tranny.

how much is the adapter plate? on top of the tranny, im seeing on ebay you can pick a 6 speed up for $600 to $800

What 6 speed you looking at?! It needs to be a TR6060 or a 3650 from an 05-10 or else it won't work with the adapter plate. Contact Nice Pony about pricing... I believe its $640 for the 3650 and $680 for the tr6060. The TR6060 is about $2000.

just an idea...turbos are easier on the trans ive been running a turbo for nearly a year now and no problems what so ever besides small stuff (non related to tran)


mine is auto tho....

Apples and oranges. The auto is the same unit between the V6 and V8, hence beefier to start with

Well Ward I've been running with the Xcharger for almost 2 years and 80,000 miles with no problems with my automatic so I guess the Xcharger is just as easy on the automatic (and I ran with nitrous for 2 seasons before putting the Xcharger on the car). The car has 164,500 on it right now also.

No the top and bottom is stock, I haven't even changed the valve springs for some stronger ones or shimmed the stock ones.

Yea cause its an automatic.... Throw a turbo on a T5 and it will grenade asap.
