Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
2005 Mustang V6 convertible with 150KM

Knocking noise that is getting progressively worse.
Sounds to me like it is coming from the the rear driver side of the car.
The odd nature of the noise/vibrations are they disappear under acceleration and braking, and get worse when decelerating???

Investigation so far has shown
Bushings in decent condition
Oil residue surrounds the drive shaft bearing
No noise when raised off the ground on jacks, possibly needs load to introduce the noise.

Desperate for suggestions....

Possibly the axle backs where they pass over the axle and under the fuel tank.
