Thanks! Bama does appreciate the positive feedback, and we love to hear when people are happy with the tunes that we've worked really hard to create!
As for the X-Charger. Think they're tempting now? Try having to walk by one sitting in our warehouse!
Anyone looking for X-Chargers, give us a call!

Hey Chris, you guys doing custom tuning on the X-Chargers now, or are yours shipping with the Explorer Express tune?
You gotta check out the JDM Xtreme tune from what I've been hearing.

do the x-chargers put out more power then the vortechs? I see alot more people on here with those. I dont think you have to punch a hole in the oil pan for the vortech's either

Kind of comparing apples to oranges. The centrifugal based Vortecs do make a little more top end horse power but not by much and they don't have a flat torque curve like the roots based X-Charger. To better explain the roots supercharger is a positive displacement pump which allows it to build full boost at very low RPM which produces a very flat torque curve. Centrifugal superchargers make more boost and torque the faster they turn and not being positive displacement do not have a flat torque curve so max torque comes in much later. So to simplify that explanation the X-Charger comes on sooner and stronger than a Vortec which makes for a real fun street car IMO. At the track they are pretty even on the ETs. So it boils down to personal preference in the long run. Personally I like the X-Charger and yes I am biased toward it. I as quite a few others have put it through the ringer with well over 100,000 miles of reliable service. Not to mention the fun factor!
