I guess I just want to be reassured after spending this kind of money

I'm sure there will be a big difference when I really get on it, but was wondering what it's like at other times as well. I'm really looking forward to it!

Drives like stock... I can drive all day without ever getting into boost.

That's actually a good thing. Seems like less wear and tear on the engine that way.

Big difference - although with the positive displacement Xcharger rather than the centri it is more difficult to stay out of boost completely because it builds so low and quick. Good to have on the highway trying to make a quick lane change or if the lane has stopped and I have to get up to speed quickly to merge into the lane that is still flowing.

But, as far as easy on the engine -- I have 188,800 on this engine and transmission and have had the Xcharger on it since 90,000 miles. Still running strong and will get mid 12's at the track on the weekends.

I've had the X-Charger installed now for almost a year, and my heart still jumps into my throat, my palms still get sweaty, and I can still feel that adrenaline coursing through my veins every time I put the pedal down hard. Huge difference? Hell yeah there is

Bout damn time DiscoDave that you're finally putting a supercharger in your ride. You'll have a blast with it

The shop I'm having do the install and Dyno tune is backed until 14 December, so now it's just a waiting game. Sucks! I'm ready NOW! And, hell no, I'm not doing the install myself. I don't want things falling apart and prefer having a warranty on the install.

If you're going procharger do you plan on running 12psi?
