Default Automatic Shifter upgrades

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about a better looking shifter. I know about the TCI Streetfighter but am not really that interested by it. There is has GOT to be something out there for us guys with Automatics. It doesn't need to look stock at all, just anything that looks better than what we have.

OIIIIO that's for the examples of the TCI. That actually looks pretty awesome now that I see it in a real car versus just a picture. Does the **** come off easily so you can change it?

What's up, Andrew!
Don't worry, Nuke is just messing around

The **** comes off easily. Honestly, it's my favorite interior mod to date.

No other options that I know of, but are others really needed?
The TCI is slick, better get one before the price goes up (again)...and don't worry about the manual crowd, they just like playing with their stick more

there was a guy on allfordmustangs that was making a custom shifter. had a tall boot, looked like a manual shifter. a few guys that got them liked them, but i went with the tci myself. seems like the price jumped about a hundred bucks last year

Default Tight Auto Shifter

Our 2005 Shifter is very difficult to put into Drive, etc. I'm not sure if someone poured iced tea or something else on it. Does anyone know how to expose the linkage from the top? Does the cover "pop off"?

"Pop off" NO. My auto shifter started sticking and sounding like some crinkling noise. Then it started naot letting me put it in park. Eventually I had to rip the stupid black plastic cover off to get it into park. I replaced that with what Cutter has. Of course I took my car for inspection and forgot to tell the shop so they ended up jacking that up. The 05-09 auto shifter sucks!
