Walker Exhaust from Rock Auto??? H pipe??
Does anyone know anything about Walker exhaust intermediate pipes from Rock auto. Pipes are only 40 bucks a piece, which seems really cheap. But if they work that is fine with me. Thinking about using these intermediate pipes.

I already have two gt mufflers, I just need to buy an h pipe. Should I just use a gt take off h pipe or a mac prochamber catted h pipe from AM? If anyone has any experience with either or both of these pipes your $.02 would be awesome.
Thanks guys

It's just a pipe, so unless it's got holes in it, you should be fine
As far as the midpipe...try to find a takeoff H or X pipe (the GT500 uses an X). You could buy the part from AM but you'd just be costing yourself money. If you look hard enough at the right time, you can find a midpipe for under 100 bucks. I'm not sure how much it would cost to make one, but it can't be that expensive.

The Walker pipes they are selling are the same as the Ford OEM pipes. Also you will only need the left side pipe, as the right (your current pipe) can be reused as it is 2 1/2 already. I have the Walker pipes, and the Walker H (V) pipe that they list. You will need an additional rear set of hangers for your muffler on the left also. If you use band clamps, you will keep from having possible leaks where the V pipe and header pipes join up.
Other than that, Walker has some of the most reliable and reputable parts in the business. I've sold auto parts over 40 years, and believe me, it is hard to beat this brand when it comes to replacement exhaust and fitment. Always order the stainless steel pipes, so that they match your factory pipes. Your original may not look stainless, but it is. Good luck.

Yeah, you will reuse the hangers for the mid-pipe and the passenger side muffler. You will need to buy muffler hangers for the drivers side. They are usually around $40. Here is a link to AM for them.
