Default Burnouts?

Now dont sit here and call me a child. I've only had mine for about 4 weeks and i decided it was time to test its abilities. So I'm at a stoplight and this kid looks at me and I'm like ok lets do it. No one was around me. I hold the gas and brake and wait for smoke to roll and when i let go I notice that only one tire was throwing smoke. Why is this and is there any way to fix it? 18+mustang=FUN or trouble

Well first off a "one tire fire" is caused by having an open diff and not having a LSD. You can fix this by simply having a LSD installed in your car. Second, why are you doing a burnout at a stoplight? I thought you trying to say that you were racing the other guy?

it's a good idea to know what your car has and doesn't have before you push it. you could learn a lot in a month.

first thing you need to do is get it custom tuned coupled with a CAI. if you can't afford both, just get it tuned. the CAI alone won't do anything significant... trust me.

if the one-tire-fire is embarrassing, you have several options but they will all cost $$$. best thing to do is buy entire axle assembly with higher gear ratio and LSD. 3.73s are the best balance IMO. good luck with your stang and good luck with your adventures.

The notorious one wheel peel. People learn quickly of it without a LSD.

Yep... Options are: ford racing LSD $350+ ford racing gears $170+ install kit $70 + install cost. Or, GT take off axel for like $800-1000. Option 1 is gonna be $200-400 cheaper.

Im not sure if this works on mustang but I had a ford ranger and if you backed up 5-8 feet first both tires would spin. I know its kinda cheesy but way cheaper then buying allt that stuff lol.
