Default Supercharger or Turbo

I have a few mods but my goal is to drop in a Xcharger http://www.americanmuscle.com/xcharg...it-0509v6.html

Others have told me about the Vortech V2 turbo kit which have heard good things about also.. just trying to decide whats the better bang for the buck

Hey,

The Xcharger and Vortech are both amazing kits. I'm confident that you'll be extremely happy with either of these options! What are your goals for the car? Is it a daily driver or a track car?

Feel free to give my CS team a call and they'll gladly hook you up and answer any questions you may have! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Both seem to be great superchargers, the x-charger will make low end power/ torque while the vortech will make it's power in the top of the RPM range.
Both will make you happy I"m sure. I've heard and read good things about the reliability of the x-charger, can't comment on the vortech, there may be more maintenance involved but don't quote me on that.
Hope this helps.

X-Charger FTW
By far the best for a daily driver IMHO. Very low maintenance, easy install, tons of online support and the best support there is from Explorer Express.

My concern with the STS system is the exposed intake first. Any big rain storm or snow storm would really concern me. I know of one person who had it on his car and he ended up redoing everything, moving the turbo up front and adding an A2A intercooler because the STS was inefficient.
