I would consider it, although $200 is a bit pricey.

I like them. I paid $90 for this one off eBay. My ex-GF has a black cover with silver on her's that I managed to buy new a little over a year ago. I bought this one about 4-5 months ago off eBay. I've had numerous offers for it since I got it. These are a very simple cover, but they can't be used with the strut tower brace. I had to remove mine to fit the cover, but it looks better than the cross brace, IMO.

Wouldn't post the pic for some reason. Please excuse the dirty engine bay. It's clean now, but this was the only pic I had that I could post.

Yup I love my plenum and I payed around 200 for it looks great and really cleans up the engine bay. Honestly, I have to say I'm kinda glad they are more rare now, When I'm in a V6 mustang class for shows mine usually stands out a bit more.

I would pay $200 easy for a plenum to clean up my Mustang's engine. Every time I open up the hood, people go "Is that a v6? Thats a big v6.". It would be nice if looked put together as well.

The only bad thing about the GT one is if you put certain types of superchargers on, you have to discard it. However you can keep it with a pro charger. I don't know anything about superchargers though and why they are in different locations. When I had the 4.0 I didn't think it needed any dress up under the hood but personally if I still had the car, I would pretty much get parts surrounding that area. I thought there was some of these for the 4.0 though already.. I have seen them. Not sure on the price though. when I got the one for the GT the price already had inflated so I got mine on ebay for probably 80 bucks. Dealer charges about 100 more. I didn't want the factory hood scoop which actually looks ok.. I do own the shelby gt hood scoop though but never put it on.. genuine from an 07 black shelby gt and had it paint to match. That thing ruins the hood if you bolt it on and the hood alone costs a grand.

That's why I'd rather save the $200. A roots type Supercharger would look much better sat on top of the motor

It's also why I'm trying really hard to resist getting power bolt ons, just get the car to be a good base for an xcharger in a couple of years is what I keep telling myself!

No thanks.... Actually sold the one I had. I do think you will get a lot of interest in it though, but not at $200.

I know this is an old thread but is anyone still interested in one of these? I have't seen a used one for sale in a couple of years. I may have an opportunity to get something similar made and wondered if anyone besides me still wants one. Just gauging interest. what would be a reasonable price point? $150?
