I'm confounded... Only 15 takers so far. I can't believe that anyone with a 4.0, even if they haven't had to replace the OE t-stat housing, hasn't realized that it's an accident waiting to happen and that replacement with another OE style plastic housing is like betting on the house.

Maybe we should get the names of all the spouses or boyfriends/girlfriends and have them buy one as a stocking stuffer...

What do I do with the replacement plastic Ford
housing assembly I got to replace my leaky plastic
OEM housing came with the car new?
Sadly I already sank my thermostat housing $$
into that one sitting on the shelf.
The housing started leaking one day so a replacement
was purchased and then the leak stopped as soon as it
heard a new housing was coming to replace it...
Well that and leaving the Radiator Cap loose so
it cannot build any pressure... The temps stay low
(175 - 185) and no more leaks from the housing at
atmospheric pressures.

Otherwise I would be all over this like, well you know...

Hmmm, things that go bump in the night?...

With all the forum chatter about people that have coolant leaks on their 4.0's, you'd think there'd be a bigger turnout for this. Regardless, keep on keeping us posted.
