I'm about to put mine on this morning along with some other stuff . For those who haven't installed yet be sure to wash this thing out. Mine had some oil and small debris that I would rather not have floating around in my cooling system.

mine burst 20 feet away from my parking spot so i got to park her and take 6 hours to perfectly clean install and test my new alluminum thermostat housing, she runs like a champ now.

My friend who makes the metal thermostat says he is going to sell it for $149 to anybody on the forums. Just send the money via Paypal fdxmechanic@yahoo.com and mention you are a forum member(say which forum) and he will give you the $149 price.

Hey folks, I'm installing my thermostat this morning. I just have one quick question, the smallest O-ring that came with the housing (I'd guess about 3/8" maybe?) is for the coolant temperature sensor right?

Ignore the previous, I got it all installed. Everything works great and I highly recommend the part for any future readers of this thread.

If the special price is honored, I may just pick one up.
