Looks like I will be buying another one since one son now has a 2006 Ford Mustang besides the 2008 Ford Mustang the other son possesses.

LOL, I'm quoting myself, but in another thread I detailed that I reached out and got one from the guy. It looks really good, I am probably going to put it on sometime in the near future.

I wonder if it is possible to get up another "group buy" for an exclusive price? I'm sure there are a lot of members now that could use a product that is built to last.

The seller told me if you send him a email to simmonsautosportz@yahoo.com and tell him you are on a forum and your forum id he will give you a discount. I guess it's the same price it was on the last group buy of $149. Worth a try!

Default Any longer-term Aluminum Thermostat Housing owners?

I am interested in purchasing one especially after my plastic housing developed a crack. I replaced it with another Motorcraft plastic unit because I needed my car fixed fast.

Has anyone had one of these aluminum units log enough to give a long-term owner review, not just someone who has had it installed for a month?

Thanks,

Why not just leave well enough alone. That's what I'm gonna do. I can get a factory replacement for less than $50. The original lasted from 2007 until now - long term review = excellent. Why pay $150 (!) for a metal one that will need to be removed to replace the thermostat anyway unless you can buy a thermostat that lasts forever too. Too much money, too little value.
