I don't know if you can get it for the 4.0 but, IMO, since the 4.0 exhaust cannot sound like a V8, if I pulled up next to a 4.0 with a lopey idle I'd think he had a plug not firing.
No I think you need to have separate intake and exhaust cams for that to happen. The 4.0 just has one cam for the intake and exhaust, so the cam timing cannot be varied to give it that loping sound.
