Help! Just came home from a one hour drive last night and I get out close my door and noticed my lights and horn didn't go off when I pressed my lock button twice. Then I noticed through my window that my clock is still on. I went in, cycled the key and now realized that also my power windows are working with the key out. Is this an ignition problem with the car seeing itself in accessory mode? I had to disc. my battery because I know this is creating a draw. Any idea whats going on ?

Did disconnecting the battery solve your problem? Is it hard to get your key out of the ignition? Any change in the smoothness of the ignition barrel?

disc. the battery the first time stopped it but n change after that right back to acting up. Ignition feels normal, jiggled the key also with no change.

ok so, ive pulled fuse 44 for circuit 294 bl/wt in the junction box located by the pass side kick panel while i had my radio blasting with no key in ignition and it stopped playing. I started my car and my radio came back on but my power windows were completely inop. still have to pull the SJB out and check for bad wiring, corrosion, or water intrusion. I also pulled the accessory delay fuse out and checked that also, but after i put the fuse and relay back in the problem stopped and my car goes out of accessory after 5-10 mins like its supposed to... ill post tomorrow with another update. feel free to chime in if anyone has any ideas.
