Camber Kits

Camber Kits
My mechanic told me I needed camber kits on my 2005 V6. Is this common for a Mustang to need this? I had new stock struts and shocks installed one year ago.
I was hoping to get a little guidance from someone who has knowledge on this subject.
I only use the car for driving to and from work each day. That's about 50 miles per day. I currenly have 125,000 miles on the car.
Thanks

Whether you need an alignment done for any mild amount of lowering needs to consider your normal driving and what your camber and toe settings actually are at this point. Do not assume that your car was ever at the factory preferred cambers and toes.
If you know what your current alignment settings are and can describe your normal driving in terms of your mix of city/highway/country road driving is and how hard your normal cornering and usual braking are, I might be able to suggest where to go from there.
For the record, I don't trust aftermarket "camber bolts", particularly on the earlier year cars. Use Ford's own camber bolts, camber plates, or Steeda's HD strut mounts (which have some camber adjustability).
