Metal Thermostat Housing

Metal Thermostat Housing
I bought a metal thermostat housing from someone on this forum and noticed that there are two holes for the temperature sending unit. Both holes are completely open.
Since I only have one temperature sensor how do I plug the other hole?
Thanks.

I bought it off a forum member who no longer has a mustang. I'm trying to get some info from him.
Has anyone who purchased a metal thermostat housing received one with two holes?
Or was the one I bought for another vehicle?
The Ford Ranger 4.0 L housing has two holes

If I can wiggle my finger through both holes from the inside would you consider the holes all the way through?

If I recall from my install (car is sold now), the temp sensor is not a screw in, so there are no threads. If i remember right it just pushes in and twists and it's done.
If you have two completely open holes, then you have the upper half portion from a ranger's thermostat housing. The mustang one, while it did have the spots in the mold where the second one would go, only has one hole for a sensor. So the mustang one pretty much looked like it had a second sensor spot, but the hole was never drilled out.
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the two housings for the mustang and ranger/explorer are the exact same molds and they just leave one spot undrilled on the mustang one.
