Default Slight oil leak top of valve covers. Tiny device

Here are the pics any ideas on what this is im sure i just need an oring or a gasket or to tighten it up will wash my engine this weekend and dig deeper.

May be wrong but I would guess that is possibly a cam shaft position sensor

Eddie is right. That sensor is held on with a single bolt. Remove the bolt, pull it out.
There is an o-ring on the sensor, and that is likely leaking, if the leak is from there.

That is where the leak is coming from . Do i just buy a new oring or should i just replace the sensor ? Is there 2?

I do not know, but will look on my 06 tonight to see if there is anything I can add. The way most parts are I'd say you are probably looking at a new sensor unless you feel like trying to find an o ring on your own...

At RockAuto parts supplythe camshaft sensor is under $40. I didn't see a seal. I would take the sensor off and see if you could just use a o-ring from an autopart store.

I looked at mine last night and it is not leaking. If it were leaking I'd be up to take it off and see what I could see, but with it sealed, i'm hesitant to pull it off. Sorry...
