Does anyone know how to build a supercharger kit that's in the $1500-2000 range for a 2006 V6 manual Mustang? I'm not spending $5000 like the kits that are advertised. Thanks

Well, if you wouldnt have stopped reading after v6 in this sections title, you would have seen the "(1994-2004)" part. You might want to ask the guys in the s197 v6 section where those with the 4.0L (2005-2010) could possibly help.

You're not going to find one that's good quality in your price range unless it's used, and even then it's not likely to be a good name like Vortech or Procharger.

You won't be able to build your own kit for your price - there is a lot of R&D that goes in to creating forced induction and the parts aren't cheap either. Plus, you then have to find someone willing to tune your "frankenstein" kit.

you can get a vortech in the 3500-4000 range
