Default Pypes Mid Muffler vs Straight Pipes

I currently have the Pypes mid Muffler dual conversion kit from American Muscle and I was just wondering which of the two is louder, mid muffler or straight pipes? If straight pipes are louder, by how much? This is not including headers or High flow cats.

straight pipes will be louder but they sound like crap. I have seen some you tube videos in the past of 4.0's with straight pipes

I want to make it louder and throatier, would headers or high flow cats do the job?

this is what it sounds like from my interior, I have shorty headers, high flow cats and mid pipes.
