Shorty headers for the 4.0

Shorty headers for the 4.0
Considering Shorty headers for my 4.0, 5-speed manual. Along with a Ford Racing CAI and BAMA tune.
What can I expect from the headers? Any performance gain, sound, etc. Is it even worth putting them on the 4.0?

I put them on my 4.0 and only thing I got was some busted knuckles and a bit louder tone. In my opinion not worth it and I have done it! As for the Tune??? I have not done that.
