Default [Clarification Needed]Transmission Fluid Change

So I've been reading around on this forum because I wanted to change my own oil and transmission fluid. Oil change is done and works great, but I'm a tad confused on the plugs for the transmission.

Following Moosetang's "A How To: Changing Manual Transmission Fluid" I got a pretty good grasp on what I'm doing. I've got a 2007 V6 Deluxe Pony Package with a T-5 transmission I believe (I'm a novice, try not to crucify me I'm just trying to be thorough.)

I managed to get a few photos underneath and I have circled what I think are the plugs, can anyone tell me if I'm right or how insanely wrong I am? These pictures are taken from the passenger side as the manual suggest the fill plug is located.

This is the distance image so you can gauge where about I'm looking on the transmission. The oil pan is about where my hand snuck in.

This is a closer picture to show the plugs a little closer.

I would also like to add that I put a 3/8" ratchet in both plugs and it fit. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

You have it right. Looks like mud under there, I would wash that off so you don't get any in the trans by accident. Here is a thread you will also find informative.

Thank you so much! I've got some Meguiar's Super Degreaser diluted 4:1, should that and some rags work?

It should but it looks more like dirt then grease in the pictures. A brush might work better or just a pressure wash if you can get under there at the car wash.

I think if you've reviewed all the info here you will be good to go. You might want to keep in mind that trans fluid will eat into a blacktop driveway big time so if that would be a concern for you take extra care to avoid spills.

Yeah that shouldn't be a problem, I've got a large mouthed catch pan. Thank you for all the help, and will most likely be doing this Monday or Tuesday and will follow up with results!

Done on Monday, plugs were tight, but nothing a long handle couldn't fix. Shifts feel great. This was a good project. Thank you Jimkaray for your help!
