wow cry.....you have a low 14 stock second car....HOW many, and seriously HOW MANY v6's, WITHOUT TURBOS, come CLOSE. and as far as other v8's, yea theres a 70+ cubic inch difference between the mustang and camaro, so why in gods green earth would you expect the mustang to ever compete? the camaro and corvette have the same motor, your basically asking to keep up with corvettes. Ford made the mustang fast, while being more economical. theres no reason to bring up this debate, when the 4.6 3v that just came out is actually packing a punch. and I have no problem with the power i get out of my 2v 4.6, in fact i blow the doors off of anything, and stay neck to neck with ls1's till 60. Personally I PEFER the 4.6 over the ls1, of course i wish i had a 4v or 3v, but you always want whats better. I get much more power per cubic inch.

V6's with the same power as v8's, lmfao maybe same hp, but 60-100 less lb's of torque...weeeeeeeee.

either go mod a v6, and let us know how it goes, or buy a camaro and enjoy the pos GM =)

gm has class, low class, mid class, and high class, camaro = low/mid, corvete/cadi's = high

mustangs are a strong mid class car i think =)

Get a 94 or 95 SN95 and drop built-up 302 motor if you don't like the 4.6

I just passed on an '02 SS Auto with full SLP tricks for the Cobra. Who cares what is on paper? Go drive the cars. There is a reason the F Body is dead and buried. The total package is not as well rounded. 4.10s and everything else in the comparison is a foregone conclusion.

i bought my mustang because i love the look/aura of a mustang. NOT because it would be a pain in the ass to upgrade. seeing as many aftermarket parts as there are for it is just a bonus to me.

so trade it in and get a camaro. problem solved.

If Camaros and Firebirds are so good why don't they still make them. I will almost bet money there isn't a single, modern v6 that makes more torque than HP. 260hp 302 ft/lbs. That's all I would say. HP is based on Torque. Torque is what throws you back in the seat and gets the adrenaline pumping.

Im just kinda mad at the whole 2v 4.6. It's so dumb how Maros can make so much more power, and can handle more power without forged internals. grrrrrr
Who said they can make alot more power on a stock bottom end??

Its just easyer to get there.
