I just don't see a 45 series fitting.

You are talking 3" larger diameter tire than a 30 series. On a 1.5" drop, I don't see you NOT rubbing on large bumps and articulation. Of course, this will only be on the fender-liner and cannot say how much room until you hit whatever is beyond it.
