im looking into getting something big for my 97 gt (auto), ive looked into turbo's, superchargers, and nitrous, but havent found out much about strokers for 4.6 2v. How much of a power gain would you get off a strokerkit for a 4.6 2valve, and how much of a stroke could you get for it?
Thanks

Actually a strokerkit won't give you much of a gain. If you combine that with a bigger bores then you will. The 4.6L already has plenty of stroke. I would use the money and forge the bottom end and get a good nitrous kit.
that's a good question. i'm rebuilding my bottom end with forged parts this winter. i wanna add nos, but not anything real drastic. supercharger will come before the nos
Stroker kits dont give you much gain unless you're blown. The best kit is the 5.1 strokerkit and YOU NEED to get the stroker block. Trying to bore a 4.6 alluminum block causes it to becuase too weak. for 2500 they have the block, forged pistons and rods, forged crank.
