When i did this mod, I purchased the IAC restrictor off ebay and it would make my car turn off. Any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Odd, this "How To" post looks awfully familiar to another one that's been around a while on another site that can't be named.

That probably means the hole is too small. Not sure what kind of piece it is but if you can try making the hole a bit bigger until the engine doesn't just stall.

The material is kind of cardboardish, the ebay add had it in a aluminum looking material but i guess this is what it really is. The wholes are about the size of a hole punch, im going to make them a little bigger in the morning. Thank you

I was gonna do this mod but I've decided not to. Didn't want to risk having my engine stall if I am going like 40mph and then putting it into neutral causing my steering wheel to lock

I did this last year and it worked great.

Strider, your steering wheel wont lock if the car stalls, it will only lock if you turn the key to the off position

Also, which way is the correct way of putting it. Since the IAC you make has a small hole and a BIG hole, which way is the correct way to put it.
