Default How to replace bumper reinforcement

Hey i made a thread about a week ago about my car getting rearended. Last night i decided to take off my bumper cover to inspect for more damage adn i found out that the metal bumper reinforcment is crushed on the right and left side. After looking more closely today it looks like its held on by like 6 bolts. It doesn't look to hard to replace and online i found new bumper reinforcements and absorbers for around $150. Would it be out of question for me to replace this myself or do i need to go to a body shop.(already told me it was just paint)
Thanks, Eric
