Just thought i would post up some useful information for all you guys wanting to do that 03 04 cobra bumper on your gt.
Will the bumper fit on my 99-04 GT?
Yes it will fit... however you need to drill the mounting holes in the engine bay about 2 or so inches back so that the hood will close without binding
Where can i find a cobra bumper?
The cheapest and easiest way to get one painted is off of ebay. they sell them for 290 bucks plus shipping painted to match your car.
What else do i need?
You will need a right and left bezel, 2 fog lights, 2 brackets and 2 H10 pigtail connectors as well as 2 H10 fog light bulbs. (See note below)
Where can i get all this stuff?
www.latemodelrestoration has all of it. however you can get the pigtails and foglights at just about any auto parts store for 5 bucks a pigtail.
Something i figured out was that H10, 9145 and 9005 are all EXACTLY the SAME!!!! im not sure why there are so many different names for them but when i did my bumper swap i bought a 9005 pigtail with some 9145 silverstars and it hooked up perfectly.
Hope all of this helps
