I can't say anything about their customer service cause I haven't ordered anything from them. I will say that most people who build modular engines probably started by reading their books. You don't see a lot of people going with them since they are a little more expensive than most companies. But if you look at what their assemblies include and what components they use, they only use top of the line stuff. And stuff like ARP main studs come standard which is one reason why the price is generally higher.

Not sure about their shortblocks in particular but I drove one of their cars for a summer 2 years ago and it was absolutly meticulously put together with very high quality parts and man was it fast!

Like stated above, there engines are well put together, but the price tag is only for those with deeeeeep pockets. They have a 500hp 2v that i would love to get my hands on.

I've bought some parts from them. Nothing serious though. I can tell you that their tech
support is awesome. They really know what they're doing...But their prices are pretty steep.

Well heres the thing, my mom is willing to sell me her 1997 Cobra with a SHM iron teksid block (capable of 1000HP) but pushes around 650 via P1SC Procharger, the car has ran great since day 1 and even better when she put the SHM block...im just trying to see what people think, seeing that i have yet to use the car as a DD wondering if there was any problems to look out for

SHM makes great engines, I wouldn't worry about the block if I were you. If the car is really pushing that much power (hard to believe for a P-1sc) then there are other things you need to watch out for, like the rear end/axles if they haven't been upgraded and the clutch/transmission.

alot of people also say p1sc can only push 10 psi..it is currently running @ about 17

spec stg 3+ clutch
tko tranny
33 spline axles
with rear end brace

that should hold pretty well shoudnt it??

she has never launched the car hard but ran a 7.1 in the 1/8 spinning 1st with a trap of 109
