I just put in 4.10's in my stang. Other than the speedo being off 15 mph, the gearsare AWESOME !!!!!!!!!

To the OP...the difference you will gain/feel going from a 3.73 to a 4.10 rear is NOT worth the money you're going to spend to repurchase gears and have them reinstalled. Even if you can sell your 3.73's to someone, the money you pay would be much better spent saving up for a more useful modification.

As to the guy who said people with F/I going 4.56 or 4.88 on our 4.6 GT's, you must have NO idea what you're talking about, or your friends are morons.

If sinister is nearing redline in 4th trapping at 102 mph, then 4.56/4.88 is going to have you WELL WELL WELL into 5th gear with a 105-110 trap speed.

I agree. If you already have 3.73's, keep them and spend the money elsewhere. If you improving from something else, 4.10's are a great move.

if you were doing 13.9 or 13.8 with 373 gears you did not have to go to 410 to do 13.5 should have done drag radials first. that would have probably done the trick instead of paying for another gear swap.

i have a 2003 mustang gt with 4.10s and they are fine for me its an automatic but on the roads as its my daily driver i dont go over 65. which at 65 im tachin 2500 rpms. ive taken it to 75 which put me at 3k rpms so if u have a heavy foot on the roads dont get them.i take my to the track but with my nittos (which i think suck)all i do is spin til the 1/8 mile

Nittos dont suck your suspension does. I am able to lift the front tires using Nittos.
