Default code pulled p1443? need help!

i hooked a scanner up to my 98 gt and this code was pulled..

p1443
Evaporative Emission System Control Valve
(low/no flow)


i looked the code up in the manual and it said..



Vacuum System - Purge Control Solenoid or Purge Control Valve fault

P1444
Purge Flow Sensor circuit Input Low

does anybody kno how to fix this or wat i need to replace? thax

i'll try and help here. my '96 gt had the same problem. i replaced these two part numbers. e4zf-9c915-aa ( the part number on the replacement was e6zz-9c915-a) and f57e-14a606-aa (the part number on the replacement was f57z-14a606-ba) i cleared the code and it was good to go ever since.

one box said "valve assy" and the other just said "valve" as a discription. they were located on the right hand side of the motor and were inline with each other. pm me with your email and i'll send you pics of the old parts.

I got the same code on my Thunderbird and started by replacing the $15.00 F57Z-14A606-BA part first. The CE code still remains so I guess I will try the $60.00 E6ZZ-9C915-AA part now. Would you mind shooting me the pix of the parts you spoke of?
