Default Bassani or Hooker headers?

I have long awaited to get headers. However I have only found 2 types that dont involve removing when working on the clutch/tranny. Both are roughly the same price so I am wondering if anything has installed Bassani or Hooker headers on a 99-04 GT. If so, did you notice any power gains? dyno numbers?

Long tubes or Bassani Mids. And when u said "WOW" is that sound... or power? or what? I still wanna know some dyno numbers. I had a friend with a WS6 Trans Ams and put long tubes and exhaust on and dyno 30 more hp. I doubt I would get that.

Ok,i've sobered up now so here goes.MMFF tested a full Bassani exhaust with cats and got 17.3 rwhp and 17.2 fp of torque.I tried to install the Bassani headers this weekend and it was a nightmare.I finally gave up and am taking it to a shop Thursday,I only found ONE shop in the whole area.Nobody wanted to touch this job.I wonder why????The passenger side is the troublemaker and it's virtually impossible to install headers without a lift.I'm sure it can be done but it would be VERY much of a pain in the azz.I just don't have that kind of sanity. You will need 1/4,3/8,and 1/2 inch drive sockets of about five different sizes and lengths along with every concievable extension, and swivels. This is not an easy install,I would rather R&R the engine itself, than fool around under the car for two days. Now back to my drinking![8D]
