Default RE: Is this NORMAL?

Man I just bought a 4.6 and am having the same problem I flushed my coolant yesterday and put a stock thermostat in and it's still running a little warm I think my radiator has a small leak cause I have had to add a little water twice now in the past two days. A new thermostat would be like $6-8$ mine was $8.50 with a lifetime warranty. Good luck

Both cars run about midway ...somewhere like everyone else said between R-M. I would have considered the lower temperature abnormal.

"Whose brain did I just put in?"
"Abby something."
"Abby who?"
"Abbyyyyy normal I believe."
"Abby Normal?"
"Yes, that's right. Abby Normal."
"You mean I just put an abnormal brain...."

Name the movie!!!

Can we keep this on-topic please!?!?!

I believe the stock thermostat is 192/195ish?

Andy: I heard not to go to a 160 b/c it doesn't let the car get to full operating temp. But you know what, I'll be taking the car (has 4.30's) out to Iowa, so cooler is better.

Does that 12 degrees make that big of a difference? And a new thermostat is seriously 8 bucks????

Coolant level is fine BTW... nice and full and a beautiful green!

Yes, it is. For a new one you will need the new T-stat, gasket, and some more coolant!
