Default Is this NORMAL?

ok people the temerature guage reads as follows: [] NORMAL [] ..... ok normally my temp needle rests between then "N" and the "O". However, on my trip to Orlando over the weekend, it was staying on the "A" the whole time. Granted I was cruising at about 85mph which is about 2700rmps (7 hour trip). But there was nobody in front of me, so lots of fresh cold air unlike the hot stagnant exhaust my car breathes in town. Seems like it was runnig a bit warm to me...... So, is this normal???

Also, it seems to run very warm like this in the summer months, cooler thermostat in order? And how much is that? Can I install it myself? Thanx for playing everyone!

Do we really need a poll for this question?

Well, mine is always between the R and the M, or half-way i guess would be the easier way to say it. I wonder why your "normal" temp is cooler than mine...

Yeah, mine usually rests on R-M...

But I'm getting a 180 degree thermostat w/ the PI headswap today.

Both cars run about midway ...somewhere like everyone else said between R-M. I would have considered the lower temperature abnormal.

"Whose brain did I just put in?"
"Abby something."
"Abby who?"
"Abbyyyyy normal I believe."
"Abby Normal?"
"Yes, that's right. Abby Normal."
"You mean I just put an abnormal brain...."

Name the movie!!!
