I tinted my taillights and I also tinted a buddy's taillights. I did it different ways each time.

You have to start out with a good wet sand with some real fine sand paper, Im talking like 1000 grit or so, if you don't, whatever you put on the lens won't stick. On my taillights I used actual clear coat and mixed a little black paint into and used a spraygun and sprayed it on just like you were painting anything else.

I didnt have access to the spraygun when I did my buddy's so I used that nightshade stuff, and it also worked well.

Just remember to wet sand them and spray it in VERY LIGHTcoats. Let each coat dry for about 10 to 15 minutes so that it gets tacky, and then spray another coat on. The more coats you do the darker it will be. Just take your time so that it doesn't run or spot up. It also helps to do it in a fairly clean place, like a garage or a basement with some good ventilation, don't do it outside in the grass or anything haha.

stangmods tints on my GT lights worked awesome. Just dont wash the car for like 24 hours afterwards to make sure they stuck well. VERY easy to apply...and I failed at trying to do my tails so this means something lol
