Best headers by far are ARH & Kooks. If you are on a budget go with Mac. I personally do not like BBK because their welds are junk. Stick with Longtubes, shorties give you pretty much nothing. I would swich your catback to Borla, Bassani or Mac.

For intake go with K&N or C&L. Go with either 3.73's or 4.10's FR Gears.

Check here for all your parts:

They have a huge selection and great customer service. I order all my parts from them.

Yeah I thought of putting PI heads and intake on it but not sure how much of a job that would be...I generally have friends do the stuff fer me and help em...Not fully sure I could do it myself.

As she sits the only mods done to it are the Bassani off road h-pipe and dual chamber Flowmasters.

Also curious about good ideas/deals on heads intake combos...My friend tells me that a non PI motor with PI heads will put out more power than just swapping in a PI motor.

If you already have the Bassani h-pipe you should look into the Bassani mid-length headers. They are pretty much the same as long tubes, just there version.

Do you have any Idea what you're talking about???

OP, if you do gears, go 4.10 BECAUSE you haven an Auto. Don't waist your time with shorty headers the Hp gain doesn't support the cost or PITA install. PI engine (or 4v), get what ever CAI kit that's the cheapest since it's mostly there for looks and then maybe a TB/plen.

for gears.... is it best to have professionals install them? Also if you get gears should you also have a tuner?

I wouldn't suggest hanging gears if you've never done it before and don't have the proper tools. Your year doesn't need a tuner because it has a speedo drive gear that you'll just need to buy the corresponding tooth gear.

There's a speedo drive gear in a 96 GT rear end?
