Default Flowmaster and X pipe

I have a 40 series flowmaster 2.5in pipe on my car on my 04 GT and looking for the best X pipe to add to this or if i just need to get a whole new kit. ANy suggestions would be great.

Get an o/r x, I would go magnaflow tru-x. Just my .02.

flows with x pipe sounds like trash mac catback with off road h is the way to go i think

OP, A few catted Xs sound great with Flows (Bassani and Magnaflow come to mind...), but it is of popular opinion that the vast majority of O/R Xs sound like ass with them.

If you wanna go catless, a H or PC is a much more popular choice....

Even better, go listen to some clips on YouTube and think for yourself.....

i have a UPR catted x-pipe with stock tailpipes and mufflers.. i was gona buy a used 2.5" cat back with flowmasters would that sound like garbage? the xpipe was a birthday present so i didnt have a say in brand. (now that ive been reading some threads bashing on UPR i wish i coulda had some say in it)

Cats do a lot to smooth out that sound and I would go so far as to say catted Xs sound pretty good....to MY ears.

Take the cats off an X and the sound makes me vomit.
