Sounds like you have a bad PCM, do you have it tuned? It will throw this code when the PCM takes a dump or if you have a bad handheld/chip

P0606 - Powertrain Control Module Internal Communication Error
P0606 indicates a register readback (PCM internal communications) error.
  • Damaged PCM
For Electronic Throttle Control applications, an internal PCM failure, or an ETC system FMEM condition exists. Repairing the other DTCs can fix the P0606. For all others, an internal PCM concern may be present. For both applications if only DTC P0606 is present, clear the DTCs. Repeat the self-test. Repair as necessary. If DTC P0606 is retrieved again, install a new PCM

WhiteFoxGT is trying to help you, and trust me he is the one to go to.

Based on what he is saying......heres the questions that need to be answered. Did this code come up shortly after using your SCT to interact with the PCM in some way? If you havent plugged your tuner in or interacted with the PCM anytime shortly before the code got thrown id say your PCM has gone bad. You will need a second tuner to diagnose the problem with 100% certainty.

I have had a mechanic check it too, he got the same code. A few weeks ago I put the economy tune to see wat it did, I didn't like it and put back my american muscle tune, a few days later it started acting up. I tried to put a different tune on but the sct says its not connected or battery is low. I took it to autozone and they checked the battery and alternator, they were good. So what should my next move be

Sounding like your SCT has gone bad. If other devices that interact with your PCM are working fine and reading codes, yet your SCT cant....then theres your answer. But if your PCM is bad I dont think any device will be able to interact.

The first thing I would try is a new or borrowed tps (electronic throttle positioning sensor) is the only (Electronic Throttle Control) that I'm aware of on the new edge. If that don't fixit or you receive the error again, borrowing a PCM would be the nuts!!
