Why is nothing easy? lol I just installed the K member the other day and now the passenger caliper is holding closed. I noticed it was tight before I changed the K but I didn't think much of it since the car sat for about a month.
The 03 sat in a Stealership all winter and I can only assume the plunger has rusted. I'm trying to convince my wife to let me upgrade to cobra brakes for her. She's being awfully negative about it since we just spent the money on the K and the new rear tires. (She didn't need 315 NT01's, lol.)
Does buyFordracing online still have the best price for the cobra brakes?

I just did the Cobra brake upgrade on my convertible and if you can sufficiently sweet talk the Boss into spending the money, do.it. Especially if you are going to have to spend any money at all to get fix your brakes as it is.
I got that kit Mustangntriangle mentioned and it was complete. The only thing it didn't come with was brake fluid. What a difference. Awesome bang for the buck!
I was able to spend the money without the whiff knowing about it and when she drove it for the first time after the swap she came in and asked, "What'd you do to the brakes?"
Me:"uhm, err, uhh... why do you ask?
Her: "They're great!"
Me: "Oh, well in that case I did a Cobra/Bullitt brake swap on it."
Note: You need to have at least 17" wheels to clear the larger rotors.
Best money I've spent on either car in a long, long time.

if thats not an option go with the cross drilled and slotted rotors, i got them on ebay for $90, around there, and helps alot, definitly worth the money, so for around $150 (about $50 for a new caliper)you could have some good stopping power.
Buy ford racing has the complete mach1 brake package for 349, brackets, brembo rotors, new pads and calipers and all hardware just not red like the cobras.
