my buddy has a camaro with the t-56 and it shifts like butter unlike my pos t-45!! its bad enough that i had to get 3.73's to keep up with him but when i cant shift even worse lol

Same problem here it's just a mustang thing it really makes you feel like you suck because hitting third, and missing it makes you feel like less of a man. Bad move by Ford........... Sometimes I've noticed it doesn't do it as much if I let the rpm's go down a little bit before shifting, but once it's warmed up it's not much of a prob.

I'm going to try dumping a bottle of friction modifier in with the mercon to see if it helps lubricate the clutch packs in the synchros. I'll
Let you guys know if it makes a difference.

i dont think that would be a good idea .... just use royal purple in it..... T45's suck - upgrade when you make more power...

yea the tranny just sucks, min ehas about 6k on it and it isnt the smoothest thing, i need a tranny flush bad and will be putting royal purple in it, it overhauled my old 85 gt, its ok when cold, ut shes been lockin up on occasions when i wanna go into 4th, so she deff eneds a flush....another thing to add to the list...mod money-$
