Default Throw-out bearing sound

So i'm starting to get that much dreaded TOB squeaking sound (or I think it's the TOB). It's not so bad now but I'm guessing it gets worse and worse. My question is I was wondering whether this is just an annoyance problem or is this something I should take more seriously and start saving up all that money for a new clutch job as the squeaking sound can lead to something worse?

Thanks,
Brandon

Well first it starts as an annoying squeal then afer ignoring it for a while and launching it on NT01's the clutch starts to sound like two metals screaming at each other, lol.

The TOB in these transmissions should just be considered a maintenance item. I just replaced mine last summer, I've put 8k miles on it and it's getting noisy again.

with TOB's, as long as your not having trouble getting into gears, you should be ok....

but doesn't changing the TOB almost involve basically the labor of a clutch job?

Yes. I bought a new ford racing clutch kit (came with everything TOB, pilot) and had it installed for just under $500
