Billet Parts - polished vs satin vs anodized vs chrome?
Maybe someone can help.
I've got an '04 GT Vert with solid black interior and I'm finally upgrading the boring inside with a few billet accessories. I ordered from American Muscle and started with the shifter bezel, the chrome dash rings (awesome!), headlight knob, tilt lever, A/C knobs, door pins & pedals (I haven't attempted that yet). All are listed as polished finish except the bezel which says bright polished and this one piece is brighter than the rest, almost chrome-like. All the parts are made by Stack Racing and I am very happy.
Problem is the few remaining parts I want, AM doesn't carry and I need to buy them from UPR. I wrote to them with no response.
Too make a long story short, I don't want a mismash of billet parts and need to know if polished at AM, is the same as UPR's "mirror polished" or should I go with "satin brushed"? Another company has something I like and they list theirs as "silver anodized". I am way confused and just want to finish my car.
Anyone had this problem or am I being too picky?
