Default syncro replacement

can someone please offer some advice on how to do this. Just ordered them and got them in today. thanks (99 GT)

I missed that--they are quite similar, but not identical. If you have a good grasp of mechanical principles you should have no problems...

Cliff, you wouldn't have SM for the T56 and T45 would you?

and i replied saying the t-5 was with the 5.0
you have a t-45, i belive most of the parts are interchangable, they just changed name and number because tremec bought the rights to the transmission but not the borg-warner name.

Here's a link to the T-56 manual--I have never seen a T-45 manual from Tremec. Here's a link to the T-5 manual.

My understanding is that the T-5 and the T-45 have a lot in common, however Tremec did rework some of the T-5's weak points when they got it from B-W...

file not found for the T5 but thanks for the links and hosting. You're the man. I don't predict ever building my own manual trans but it's great to be able to look, explain or pass it along. You're the man.
