Sounds about right. I can't hear it when when I go above like 3500, but thats because the V1 starts screaming. Should I pull all the plugs and check em or just make sure they are all torqued down?

it probably couldn't hurt to check the plugs, look carefully at the threads and see if any metal from the head comes out with the threads.

Would a header gasket leak be only a tick or could it make a loud medium pitched knock sound

Make a video. If you want to capture the sound with a cheap D. camera put your car half way in the garage tail pipes pointing out hood up. Best way I've seen to record odd sounds.

its actually really loud with a car/building on my passenger side so I am assuming thats where it is coming from. I haven't had a chance to check the plugs yet I will do that tomorrow. If thats not the problem I will make a video the first chance I get.

All the plugs are still torqued to spec so they aren't backing out. I guess I'll take a vid when I get my hands on a camera
