Hey i was putting a stroker kit on my 4.6 2v along with aftermarket heads and cams. I saw two types of timing chain kits; the adjustable one for 550 or the OE one for 175. What is the real difference and is having an adjustable timing chain all that necessary (i thought timining was done with a tuner anyway). I mean is an extra 400 bucks worth the performance gain from it if any? Also i haven't priced the normal oil pump but i was told to just go ahead and replace it since the motor's down and i see a high flow one for 60 bucks. It is the same one used in the 4V. what is the benefit of a high flow oil pump? what does it mean for me? the price isn't bad so... Any help from you guys would be great. Thanks.

i recommend Cobra High Flow Pump it can be had for $60 bucks the return line is wider than stock. When doing your build I also recommend canton or mmr 7q oil pan to keep motor temps lower and giving your motor plenty of oil (they 8.75 quarts of oil.
